Facial Redness & Broken Capillaries
Understanding facial redness
Visible capillaries and blood vessels
Persistent redness and red cheeks
Flushing
Flushing comes and goes and may be influenced by heat, sun exposure or personal triggers. Improving visible vessels does not necessarily prevent every episode of flushing.
Rosacea-related redness
Rosacea may involve flushing, lasting redness, visible vessels, sensitive skin or acne-like bumps. Laser or light treatment may improve selected visible signs, while some symptoms also need skin-care or medical management.
Sensitive or irritated skin
Skin that is stinging, unusually reactive or irritated may need a gentler approach first. We consider skin comfort and barrier condition as part of the treatment decision.
How MANKiND® approaches treatment
Your practitioner considers where the redness appears, whether it is diffuse or made up of distinct vessels, your skin characteristics and relevant treatment history. We then select a suitable laser or light approach where appropriate, or adjust the plan if your skin needs time to settle.
The goal is to reduce the appearance of treatable redness and visible vessels while supporting comfortable, healthier-looking skin. Results vary according to the cause and extent of redness, and a series of treatments may be recommended.
